ASRock has unveiled its Taichi, Steel Legend, and Challenger versions of the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070, with some models offering additional factory overclocking of the GPU.

The ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi 16GB OC version features a massive cooling system that is three expansion slots thick and includes three 100mm fans each. The card has a 16-phase power subsystem and a dual BIOS system with quiet and performance modes.



For the Navi 48 XTX graphics processor, the manufacturer states a gaming frequency of 2570 MHz (7.1% higher than the reference value) and a Boost frequency of 3100 MHz (4.4% higher than the reference). For additional power, the card uses one 12+4-pin 12V-2×6 connector. Power consumption is declared at 304 W. The dimensions of the video card are 330 × 140 × 61 mm.

The ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Steel Legend 16GB and ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Steel Legend 16GB Dark models differ only in color: the Dark version is made in dark tones. Both cards have RGB backlighting and are equipped with cooling systems 2.9 expansion slots thick. Both versions have reference GPU frequencies of 2400 MHz (gaming) and 2970 MHz (Boost). The dimensions of the cards are 298 × 131 × 58 mm. Both models are equipped with two 8-pin PCIe connectors for additional power.


For the Radeon RX 9070 Steel Legend 16GB OC, the manufacturer claims additional GPU overclocking. The game frequency of the chip is specified at 2210 MHz (6.8% higher than the reference value), and the Boost frequency is 2700 MHz (7.1% higher than the reference). The dimensions of the card are 298 × 131 × 58 mm. It occupies 2.9 expansion slots and uses two 8-pin PCIe connectors for power.

The ASRock Radeon RX 9070 Challenger 16GB does not have additional factory overclocking of the Navi 48 XT graphics processor. The gaming frequency of the chip is the reference 2070 MHz, and the Boost frequency is 2520 MHz. The dimensions of the card are 290 × 123 × 51 mm, its thickness is slightly larger than two expansion slots. For additional power, the new product uses two 8-pin PCIe connectors.

All the presented video cards received 16 GB of GDDR6 memory with a speed of 20 Gbit/s per contact and support for a 256-bit bus. The equipment of the new products includes three DisplayPort 2.1a ports and one HDMI 2.1b.
