ASRock Unveils Affordable B650M PRO X3D and PRO X3D WiFi Motherboards ‘Optimized’ for Ryzen X3D

ASRock has introduced the B650M PRO X3D and PRO X3D WiFi motherboards. Both new products are positioned by the manufacturer as solutions optimized for AMD X3D series processors for Socket AM5. However, this is just a marketing ploy and in fact these are just B850M PRO RS boards that have moved to the previous generation AMD B650 chipset.

«This motherboard is optimized for AMD Ryzen X3D processors, providing excellent stability, compatibility, and improved performance, making it an ideal choice for gaming and creative tasks,” says ASRock.

From the images below you can see that the B650M PRO X3D is visually no different from the B850M PRO RS model except for the name.

As VideoCardz writes, the B850M PRO RS (non-Wi-Fi version) is currently offered for $178. The B650M PRO X3D will probably be priced lower due to the use of the previous generation chipset.

The B650M PRO X3D uses an 11-phase power subsystem with an 8+2+1 phase scheme. The board received four DDR5 memory slots with support for modules with a speed of up to 8000 MT/s (overclocked). It is also equipped with a full-fledged PCIe 5.0 x16 interface, as well as one PCIe 5.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x4. The new product is equipped with 2.5-gigabit LAN. The WiFi version of the board offers support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth.

The board’s audio processing is handled by the Realtek ALC897 codec with Nahimic Audio technology. The set of ports includes: one HDMI, one DisplayPort, four SATA III, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C (front and back), one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, six USB 3.2 Gen1 (two back, four front) and eight USB 2.0 (four front and four back).

ASRock adds that the B650M X3D will not be available in all markets. The company does not specify which countries the new product will appear in.
