ASRock introduced industrial mini-PCs and motherboards based on Intel Arrow Lake-H and AMD Ryzen 300 AI

ASRock Industrial, according to the CNX-Software resource, presented industrial computers of a small form factor NUC(S) Ultra 200 Box and NUC Ultra 200 motherboards on the latest Intel Core Ultra 200H (Arrow Lake-H) processors. In addition, similar 4X4 Box AI300 devices and 4X4 AI300 boards based on AMD Ryzen AI 300 chips debuted.

NUC Ultra 200 Box, NUCS Ultra 200 Box and NUC Ultra 200 boards, depending on the modification, are equipped with a Core Ultra 7 255H (6P+8E) processor with a frequency of up to 5.1 GHz or a Core Ultra 5 225H (4P+8E) processor with a frequency of up to 4.9 GHz. In the first case, an Intel Arc 140T GPU node (74 TOPS) is used, in the second – an Intel Arc 130T GPU (63 TOPS). Both chips feature an Intel AI Boost unit with 13 TOPS performance.

The new products support up to 96 GB of DDR5-6400 RAM in the form of two SO-DIMM modules. There is one M.2 Key M 2242 (PCIe 4.0 x4) and M.2 Key M 2242/2280 (PCIe 4.0 x4) connector for NVMe SSD, as well as M.2 Key E 2230 (PCIe x1, USB 2.0, CNVi) for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth controller. Models designated NUC and motherboards are also equipped with a SATA-3 port. The equipment includes a Realtek ALC256 audio codec and a 2.5GbE network adapter based on Intel I226LM. Boards and NUC models are equipped with an additional 2.5GbE port based on Intel I226V. In addition, the mini-computers carry a combined Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) + Bluetooth 5.3 adapter on board.

All products have two HDMI 2.1 TMDS outputs (4096×2160 pixels @ 60 Hz) and two DisplayPort 2.1/1.4a ports, a DP++/USB Type-C interface (4096×2160 @ 60 Hz), a 3.5 mm audio jack, ports USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A (three for NUCS and four for NUC), USB4/Thunderbolt 4 interface, USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 Type-C port. The board has connectors for two USB 2.0 ports and a RS232/RS422/RS485 serial port. The dimensions of the NUC are 117.5×110.0x49 mm, NUCS – 117.5×110.0x38 mm, board – 104×102 mm. The operating temperature range for minicomputers extends from 0 to +40 °C, for boards – from -20 to +70 °C.

In turn, 4X4 Box AI300 computers and 4X4 AI300 boards can be equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor (8 cores; up to 5.0 GHz; AMD Radeon 860M) or AMD Ryzen AI 5340 (6 cores; up to 4.8 GHz; AMD Radeon 840M). In both cases, the Ryzen AI neural processor based on the XDNA 2 architecture is used with a performance of up to 50 TOPS. DDR5-5600 memory capacity can reach 96 GB (two SO-DIMM modules).

The products are equipped with M.2 Key M 2242 (PCIe 4.0 x4) and M.2 Key M 2242/2280 (PCIe 4.0 x4) connectors for NVMe SSD, as well as an M.2 Key E 2230 (PCIe x1, USB 2.0) slot for an adapter Wi-Fi/Bluetooth (mini-computers carry a module on board Wi-Fi 6E). The equipment includes 2.5GbE (Realtek RTL8125BG) and 1GbE (Realtek RTL8111H) network adapters, Realtek ALC256 audio codec. The set of connectors includes two HDMI 2.1 interfaces (7680×4320 @ 60 Hz) and DisplayPort 1.4a / USB Type-C (4096×2160 @ 60 Hz), a 3.5 mm audio jack, three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, two USB4/Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 2.0 ports (via connectors on the board). The dimensions of the computers are 117.5 × 110.0 × 49 mm, and the dimensions of the boards are 104 × 102 mm. The operating temperature range is from 0 to +40 °C and from 0 to +70 °C, respectively.
