ASRock introduced 19 ATX 3.1 power supplies with power up to 1650 W

ASRock has introduced 19 new power supplies of ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, equipped with modern 12V-2×6 power connectors (improved version 12VHPWR) for video cards. New products were announced within four branded series: Taichi, Phantom Gaming, Challenger and Steel Legend.

ASRock announced that its power supplies are certified according to Cybenetics standards from Cybenetics Labs. This is a long way to guarantee their high quality and reliability.

The flagship series of Taichi power supplies is represented by models with power from 1300 to 1650 W. These new products each received two 12V-2×6 connectors for new generation video cards. For these power supply models, 80 Plus Titanium and Cybernetics Titanium / A+ efficiency certificates are declared.

The manufacturer borrowed from MSI the idea of two-color design for the 12V-2×6 connector. Thanks to this, when connecting the power cable, you can immediately see if the plug is not fully inserted into the connector. This simple solution ensures the safety of both the GPU and the power supply.

Phantom Gaming series power supplies will offer power from 750 to 1600 W. These power supplies have a platinum efficiency certificate from Cybenetics.

The Steel Legend series of power supplies will offer models with power from 650 to 1000 W. They are 80 Plus Gold certified for efficiency.

The most affordable models will be the Challenger series power supplies, which will offer power from 550 to 850 W. Unlike other models, these power supplies do not have modular cables. They are certified 80 Plus Gold.

The company did not say anything about the cost of the new products. Detailed specifications of power supplies can be found on the official ASRock website.
