The expert comes to this conclusion after a video appeared demonstrating that Apple has a prototype of a future robotic product. According to him, the typical duration of the corresponding stages of preparation for the release of a new product allows us to assume that the first Apple robots in serial production will appear no earlier than 2028. At the same time, it is unusual that the company is openly sharing information about the prototypes now. Most likely, it hopes to attract valuable personnel necessary for working on robots.

According to Kuo, Apple is experimenting with both humanoid and other form factors of robots that could be useful in the smart home ecosystem in the future. As noted earlier, in the next few years, Apple hopes to release a hybrid of a robotic smart speaker and a tablet that can automatically turn in the right direction and follow the user independently.
