PowerBeats Pro are positioned as a more sports and fitness alternative to AirPods Pro. Earlier it was reported that PowerBeats Pro 2 will receive support for the function of heart rate monitoring during training. The iOS 18 software code also indicates the possibility of pairing headphones with various sports equipment, for example, a treadmill. This will measure the heart rate during classes, and the collected data will be available in the “Health” application and other supported iPhone services.
According to Gurman, the headphones of Powerbeats Pro 2 will be available in new color options, including bright orange. It is also expected that the developers improved the quality of the transmitted sound, increased the battery life of the device, optimized the cross-platform compatibility with Android functions, and equipped the charging case of the USB Type-C interface.
