Apple released iOS 18.3 with new AI functions for all supported iPhone

Apple has released stable versions of iOS 18.3 and iPados 18.3. The update will bring functions on the basis of artificial intelligence to supported devices, which will be a step towards expanding the accessibility of Apple Intelligence tools.

First of all, we note the appearance of the Visual Intelligence function for smartphones of the iPhone 16 series. This tool will allow users to add events to the “calendar” application by scanning data from posters, advertising leaflets, etc. In addition to this Visual Intelligence, you can use visual identification of plants or animals.

Even in iOS 18.3, support for the generation of news reports was implemented. However, at this stage it is not available, since Apple had to suspend this function due to the fact that it often generated misleading reports, the content of which was not related to reality. The news reports themselves are highlighted in italics, and you can configure their display through a special menu available on the device lock screen. It will also allow you to quickly turn off the function for any application if necessary.

Even the developers returned to the Calculator application the possibility of repeating the last operation when pressing the equality key. A bug was also fixed, due to which, when the Siri text mode is called, the screen keyboard could disappear. Fixed a bug due to which audio reproduction in Apple Music could continue to the end of the track, even in case of closing the application.
