Apple has released public betas of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1 with Apple Intelligence features. Owners of iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro, and devices with M1 chips and later now have access to text rewriting tools, a new Siri design, Clean Up AI for removing objects from photos, and more.

To gain access to beta versions, registration is required on the official Apple beta testing program website. After verification, the update becomes available in the device’s system settings. However, Apple Intelligence functionality is only available on select smartphone models: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro. Owners of iPad and Mac with M1 chips and newer will also be able to try out the new Apple AI.
Until now, Apple Intelligence features were only available in developer beta. It’s important to note that current public betas do not provide the full range of announced Apple Intelligence capabilities. The company plans to gradually introduce additional AI features in future updates. The release of the final versions of the operating systems is expected in October 2024.
