Apple published lists of vulnerabilities that were closed with the release of public updates iOS 18.3 and iPados 18.3, MacOS Sequoia 15.3, as well as Watchos 11.3. In total, the company closed 98 errors regarding the work of these platforms. Owners of compatible devices are recommended to establish updates data in order to protect themselves from the identified threats.
On iOS and iPados 18.3 there were 26 corrected errors. Five of them fall on the AirPlay function – they allowed to cause malfunctions in the operation of the application and system, carry out attacks of the type “refusal to maintain” (DOS), as well as execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability in the ARKIT components (augmented reality), Coreaudio, Coremedia, Imageio, in the core of the system, in the LaunchServices, LibxSlt modules, in the component of the EURTICTION for authorization, in the WEBKIT engine, SAFARI and other component, are identified tents.
In MacOS Sequoia 15.3, Apple closed 57 vulnerabilities. They were associated with the components of AirPlay, Applemobilefileintegrity, Arkit, Facetime application, ICLOUD, SAFARI browser and Webkit engine, SMB network protocol and other components. And 15 more vulnerabilities, Apple closed with the release of Watchos 11.3. Four are associated with AirPlay, two-with the core of the system, two-with the Webkit engine, other components of the platform for smart hours were affected.
On the eve of Apple Visionos 2.3, iPados 17.7.4, MacOS Sonoma 14.7.3 and Ventura 13.7.3, TVS 18.3 and Safari 18.3 were also released.
