The device is equipped with a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p. The display is mounted on sliding hinges. A physical QWERTY keyboard is hidden under the screen. Unlike more expensive handheld gaming consoles, the Core HS does not come with touchpads.

The new product is based on an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 7840U based on Zen 4 architecture, equipped with 12 execution units of integrated graphics based on RDNA 3 architecture. The same chip, for example, is used in portable game consoles ROG Ally (renamed Ryzen Z1) and Lenovo Legion Go , however, Core HS can use regular AMD consumer drivers rather than the OEM versions. The console also comes with the AyaNeo Space app, which contains various gaming features such as overlay and power plan settings.

The console’s Core HS processor can operate at a TDP of up to 28W. The set-top box supports the installation of M.2 2280 NVMe drives with a capacity of up to 4 TB. The device is also equipped with a 46.2 Wh battery and supports Wi-Fi 6E.

In a configuration with 16 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 RAM and a 512 GB SSD, the new product is priced at $499. The version with 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB storage received a price tag of $699.

In the older configuration, the set-top box is offered with a portable case, a protective covering for the screen and a docking station.
