AMD will soon introduce two more chips for AM4 – six-core Ryzen 5 5600T and Ryzen 5 5600XT on Zen 3

The AMD AM4 platform debuted in 2017 and it looks like it’s not going to go away just yet. More than 140 processor models have already been released for the platform, and soon this list will be replenished with two more modules – six-core and 12-thread Ryzen 5 5600T and Ryzen 5 5600XT. Both new products use Zen 3 architecture.

Both chips are very similar to each other. The Ryzen 5 5600T has a base frequency of 3.7 GHz, which is 200 MHz higher than the base frequency of the regular Ryzen 5 5600. In turn, the base frequency of the Ryzen 5 5600XT is 3.8 GHz, which is 100 MHz more than Ryzen 5 5600X. The maximum frequency of the new products is 4.5 and 4.7 GHz, respectively. Otherwise, they are the same – 32 MB of L3 cache and 65 W TDP.

Both chips have already appeared in the assortment of the Amazon online platform. The Ryzen 5 5600T costs $186.58, the Ryzen 5 5600XT is priced at $192.08. Considering that the Ryzen 5 5600X can currently be found on sale for prices ranging from $128 to $168, and the Ryzen 5 5600 ranges from $124 to $145, the prices for the new models do not look attractive. Even taking into account the higher clock speed. Both processors come with AMD WRAITH Stealth processors.
