AMD has released an optional version of the Radeon Software Adrenalin 25.3.2 graphics driver. It adds support for Assassin’s Creed Shadows and The Last of Us Part II Remastered.

The new driver also includes an update to the AMD Radeon Developer Tool Suite (RDTS) with support for AMD Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards. You can learn more about these developer tools here. AMD says that FSR 3.1 scaling technology is now available in more than 110 games. Using the AMD FidelityFX SDK, these games can quickly be updated to support FSR 4.
List of fixed issues:
- Fixed an issue where gamma was incorrectly displayed in-game in Counter-Strike 2 when using MSAA x8 antialiasing on Radeon RX 9070 series video cards;
- Fixed occasional crashes in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle when using Very Ultra and Path Tracing settings;
- Third-party tools that use the ADL SDK to determine the number of ROPs might incorrectly report having 64 ROPs;
- Fixed performance issues in Assetto Corsa Competizione on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards;
- Fixed occasional crashes or application crashes when minimizing windows (Alt+Tab) on Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards;
- Fixed intermittent crashes or application crashes when using multi-monitor configurations with high refresh rates (over 120 Hz) when connected via HDMI;
- Windows Update may have reinstalled older versions of the AMD driver instead of the latest versions of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition with support for Radeon RX 9000 cards.
List of known issues:
- A system crash may be observed due to a memory leak when using SteamVR on Radeon RX 9000 graphics cards. Users experiencing this issue are advised to disable Motion Smoothing in the SteamVR settings;
- AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition performance notifications may appear when using the Right Alt + L keyboard shortcut if a non-English language is selected as the Microsoft Windows interface language;
- AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition driver may occasionally crash when playing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 or Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with AMD Image Inspector enabled. Users experiencing this issue are advised to disable AMD Image Inspector as a temporary solution.
- After installing the driver, you may experience reduced YouTube performance in the Microsoft Edge browser. To fix the problem, it is recommended to restart the browser;
- After using AMD Cleanup Utility during installation of a new driver on AMD Ryzen 7000 and higher processors with AMD graphics cards, the AMD Bug Report Tool window may periodically appear;
- After completing the driver update on some notebooks, users may experience intermittent failures to launch the integrated webcam. In this case, it is recommended to use the AMD Cleanup Utility for Windows and use the previously recommended driver available here;
- Some VR headsets may experience stuttering when playing games at 80Hz or 90Hz refresh rates on Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards. Users experiencing this issue are advised to change the refresh rate as a temporary workaround.
- The progress of installing the chipset driver via AMD Install Manager may constantly be shown at 0%;
- The AMD Chat app installation progress within AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition may consistently show at 0% when using Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards.
