AMD has released the beta version of the Radeon Software Adrenalin 25.2.1 graphics driver. It adds support for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, Avowed, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.

List of fixed issues:

  • A partial black screen may be observed in the main menu of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 when Radeon Anti-Lag 2 and Ray Tracing are enabled on AMD Ryzen 7000 and higher processors.
  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to set low black values ​​when using MyXrayDose ViewIQ.

List of known issues:

  • During long gaming sessions in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, random system freezes or application crashes may occur;
  • In Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, a driver timeout or application crash may occur on some AMD products such as the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. As a temporary solution, you can enable variable graphics memory in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition (Performance → Setup → Variable graphics memory);
  • In the game Marvel Rivals, interruptions or stuttering can sometimes be observed if the AMD Fidelityfx Super Resolution 3 personnel generation is turned on. It is recommended to temporarily turn off this function in the driver’s settings for this game;
  • After using the AMD Cleanup Utility on systems with AMD Ryzen 7000 processors and higher, in combination with AMD Graphics products, the AMD Bug Report Tool may randomly appear when installing a new driver;
  • HEVC encoding may not work correctly when using OBS Studio with Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting.
