AMD released a new video card, but not at all that everyone is waiting

AMD introduced the new Radeon RX 7650 GRE (Golden Rabbit Edition). This model appeared some time ago in various leaks and rumors. The accelerator is released exclusively for the Chinese market and is designed to replace the Radeon RX 6750 GRE.

The Radeon RX 7650 GRE is based on the GPU Navi 33 on the architecture of the RDNA 3, containing 32 executive units and 2048 stream processors. The map is equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory at a speed of 18 Gb/s contact and a 128-bit tire. Memory throughput is 288 GB/s. The declared level of energy consumption is 170 watts, which is more than the Radeon RX 7600 (165 W) with the same amount of memory, but less than the RX 7600 XT (190 W) with 16 GB of memory.

The Radeon RX 7650 GRE graphics processor operates at a frequency of 2350 MHz in games, and the Boost-frequency reaches 2695 MHz, which is higher than that of the RX 7600 (2250–2655 MHz). For additional power, the card uses one 8-pin connector.

In China, Radeon RX 7650 GRE went on sale at a price of 2049 yuan (about $ 281). Thus, its alleged recommended price without taking into account the Chinese VAT is about $ 249, which makes it $ 10 cheaper than the RX 7600 model. The novelty is not produced in the reference design.

It is likely that over time the Radeon RX 7650 GRE will also be on sale in other countries, as it has already happened with other models of the GRE series video cards
