AMD has scheduled an Advancing AI event for June 12, where it will unveil its next-generation Instinct accelerators. The company also promised updates to its Radeon Open Compute Platform (ROCm), which is designed for high-performance computing (HPC) and AI workloads.

AMD is expected to announce the Instinct MI355X AI accelerators. The company previously stated that this product would be released in the second half of 2025. The accelerators will use CDNA 4 GPUs manufactured using a 3 nm process technology, as well as up to 288 GB of HBM3e memory.

The company may also share fresh details about the Instinct MI400 accelerators, scheduled for release in 2026. They will be the first AMD AI accelerators to use HBM4 memory.

AMD will host a livestream of the Advancing AI event on June 12 at 9:30 a.m. PT (19:30 Moscow time). The event will be hosted by AMD CEO Lisa Su.
