Amazon accidentally introduced the first color Kindle and three more e-readers

Amazon has introduced four new Kindle family of e-book readers. These include the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition, the first color Kindle to combine e-reader and Kindle Scribe features, the fastest Kindle Paperwhite in the line, and an updated entry-level Kindle. The announcement was made in Spanish and Amazon soon removed it, so it can be assumed that it was published prematurely.

Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is “designed to deliver rich, paper-like colors” for color covers and highlighted text. Images can be enlarged “without worrying about pixelation” using both standard and vibrant color styles.

The device body is waterproof, supports fast page turning, and wireless charging technology. The e-reader can work without recharging for up to 8 weeks, and its retail price will be $279.99. Sales start on October 30.

The new Kindle Scribe is suitable not only for reading, but also for taking notes. The 300 ppi screen feels papery when interacted with using the Amazon Premium Pencil with a new eraser and soft tip.

The Active Canvas feature allows you to add notes directly to the pages of the book and the text will flow around them. Notes can also be taken in the sidebar, which can be easily hidden if necessary. Implemented support for AI functions for summarizing texts. Kindle Scribe will cost $399.99 and go on sale December 4th.

The Kindle Paperwhite is the “fastest Kindle” according to Amazon. The updated version of the company’s best-selling e-reader is rumored to have a larger 7-inch screen, making the device thinner than the previous generation model. The new product can work autonomously for up to three months.

The updated entry-level Kindle costs $109.99. The device is equipped with an anti-glare screen with a resolution of 300 pixels per inch.
