AI startup xAI has promised free access to the Grok-2 bot to all X users

The startup xAI, which belongs to Elon Musk and works in the field of artificial intelligence, announced that a new version of the chat bot Grok-2 will be available for free to all users of the social network X. The Reuters news agency writes about this, citing a message from the developers.

«As always, Premium and Premium+ users will receive higher usage limits and will have first access to any new features in the future,” xAI said in a statement. The company added that the Grok-2 chatbot has been tested over the past few weeks.

Let us remind you that the beta version of Grok-2 was presented in August of this year. At that time, the algorithm was used in the social network X to generate images based on text descriptions. However, only paid Premium and Premium+ subscribers had access to it. At the same time, Grok-2 was tested in the LMSYS benchmark, and it was among the top five algorithms.
