Affordable Realme P3 Pro and P3x smartphones with capacious batteries and IP69 protection announced

Realme has unveiled its new Realme P3 series smartphones, including the P3 Pro and P3x models, which are equipped with massive 6000mAh batteries and are IP68/69 water and dust resistant.

The Realme P3 Pro smartphone has a 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (2800 × 1272 pixels), a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a local peak brightness of 1500 cd/m². PWM control operates at a frequency of 3840 Hz.

Realme P3 Pro is based on a 4-nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 octa-core processor with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz and an Adreno 720 graphics accelerator. The amount of LPDDR4X RAM is 8/12 GB, the capacity of the UFS 3.1 flash drive is 128/256 GB. A cooling system with an evaporation chamber with an area of ​​6050 mm² is used to dissipate heat.

On the back, there is a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX896 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, and optical image stabilization, as well as a 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4). The front camera has a Sony IMX480 sensor and a resolution of 16 megapixels (f/2.45).

The 6000 mAh battery supports 80W fast charging. An under-screen fingerprint scanner is used to unlock the device. High-quality sound is provided by two stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support. The device is 7.99 mm thick and weighs 199 g. The smartphone runs Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0. The company promises to provide two operating system updates and provide security updates for three years.

Realme P3 Pro comes in green (Nebula Glow), purple (Galaxy Purple), and brown (Saturn Brown). The Realme P3 Pro with 8/128 GB of memory costs around $276, while the 12/256 GB model costs $310.

In turn, Realme P3x became the first smartphone with the new Dimensity 6400 chipset from MediaTek with a frequency of up to 2.5 GHz and an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 graphics subsystem, which is used together with 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128/256 GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.72-inch IPS display with a Full HD+ resolution (2400 × 1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, as well as a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. The peak brightness of the screen is 950 cd / m2. Realme P3x received a main 50-megapixel camera with an OmniVision OV50D sensor and an f / 1.8 aperture, complemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The resolution of the front camera is 8 megapixels (f / 2.0).

The smartphone’s specifications also include stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The 6,000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. The smartphone measures 165.7 x 76.22 x 7.94mm and weighs 197g. It comes in three color options: Lunar Silver, Midnight Blue, and Stellar Pink. The smartphone runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top.

The Realme P3x with 6/128 GB of memory costs around $161, while the 8/128 GB model will cost $172.

Both new products will go on sale on February 28.
