Affordable Cwowdefu S18 smartphone with 2.4K display and NFC support announced

The Cwowdefu company announced the start of global sales of the Cwowdefu S18 smartphone, which has high functionality at an affordable price.

The Cwowdefu S18 features a 6.58-inch Incell touchscreen with 2.4K resolution (2408×1080 pixels), 60Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display provides 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and supports brightness up to 520 cd/m2, ensuring accurate color reproduction and usability even on a bright sunny day.

The cutout at the top of the screen houses a 24MP selfie camera. On the back panel there is a block of cameras that allows you to take high-quality photos and videos. It includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 0.3-megapixel scene depth sensor.

The smartphone is built on an eight-core Unisoc Tiger T616 processor (2 × ARM Cortex-A75, frequency 2.0 GHz and 6 × ARM Cortex-A55, frequency 1.8 GHz), manufactured using a 12-nm process technology, with a Mali-G57 MP1 graphics accelerator . Combined with 8 GB of RAM with the possibility of virtual expansion up to 16 GB, the processor ensures the launch of resource-intensive applications and demanding games, as well as multitasking. The capacity of the flash drive is 256 GB. The storage capacity can be expanded using microSD memory cards.

The 5000 mAh battery provides long-lasting battery life – up to 19 hours of talk time, up to 17 hours of music playback and up to 20 hours of video viewing. There is also support for reverse charging.

To unlock the device, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature are used. The smartphone’s specifications include an NFC chip, which makes it possible to pay for purchases through the terminal without the need for a bank card. In terms of protection against moisture, the smartphone complies with the IP54 standard. The device comes with Android 14 OS. The Cwowdefu S18 is priced at $109.99.
