Advantech has announced the SQFlash EU-2 PCIe/NVMe SSD family for data centers and enterprise-level platforms. The products are based on 3D TLC flash memory chips and use the PCIe 5.0 x4 interface for data exchange.
The SQF-CU2 EU-2 solutions in the SFF U.2 (SFF-8639) form factor, SQF-CE3 EU-2 of the E3.S (EDSFF 1C) standard, and SQF-CE1 EU-2 of the E1.S (EDSFF 1C) form factor debuted. All cases support NVMe 2.0, AES-256, and TCG-OPAL. The operating temperature range extends from 0 to +70 °C. The drives can withstand up to one full write per day (1 DWPD).
The SQF-CU2 EU-2 series includes modifications with a capacity from 1.9 to 30.7 TB. The declared sequential read speed reaches o 14,000 MB/s, the sequential write speed is 8,500 MB/s. The IOPS indicator for random reading is up to 3 million, for random writing – up to 400 thousand. The dimensions of the devices are 100.2 × 69.85 × 15.0 mm.
