High-end audio maker Bang & Olufsen has announced a collaboration with Italian natural stone maker Antolini. According to Bang & Olufsen, the partnership “celebrates a shared commitment to innovation, artistry and craftsmanship, seamlessly combining acoustic excellence with timeless design.” The result of the partnership is the Beosound Balance Natura audio system, which debuted at Milan Design Week.

Bang & Olufsen and Antolini have unveiled a limited edition collection of sixteen bespoke loudspeakers, each featuring a unique combination of Antolini natural stones and custom finishes from Bang & Olufsen’s Atelier catalogue.
The Beosound Balance Natura speaker series stands out for its innovative pedestal design, which combines Antolini’s mastery of stone with Bang & Olufsen’s expertise in aluminium. The sculptural base provides the optimum height for the speakers, serving not only as an interior design element, but also as a functional element of the audio system.
The speaker options presented are custom-made from natural Antolini quartz from the Exclusive Collection or petrified wood from the Precioustone Collection. According to the manufacturer, these materials “provide unique transparency and depth, enhancing the interplay of light, texture and sound.”
The press release issued by Bang & Olufsen places primary emphasis on the design of the Beosound Balance Natura, completely ignoring the technical component, thereby clearly outlining the circle of potential buyers and the target audience of the new products.
«“We are delighted to partner with Antolini to provide our customers with the opportunity to create exclusive, handcrafted pieces for their homes,” said Bang & Olufsen CEO Kristian Teär. “Beosound Balance Natura is the embodiment of this collaboration – a seamless fusion of nature and innovation, where pristine beauty meets sophisticated sound. Together, we have transformed materials into emotions, shaping stone and carving sound into a unique work of art that speaks to both the senses and the soul.”
«Together with Bang & Olufsen, we have transformed precious materials into unique sensory experiences. On the one hand, natural stone, created to tell the story of nature’s beauty. On the other, sound, created to deliver pure emotion through design that becomes art. This collaboration is not just a meeting of different materials, but a dialogue between aesthetics and performance, between nature and technology, between history and the avant-garde,” said Antolini owner Carlo Alberto Antolini.
The products in the collection are made to order. Prices are available upon request. However, the manufacturer offers regular Beosound Balance speakers with a wooden base at a price of $3,300.
