The Predator Helios 18 AI (2025) laptop features a Mini LED display with two modes: the first provides 4K resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and the second provides a 240 Hz refresh rate at 1080p resolution. The previous version of the Predator Helios 18 had a higher refresh rate of the Mini LED WQXGA (2560 × 1600 pixels) screen – 250 Hz, but owners of the new model have the opportunity to choose between high resolution and high refresh rate on one device. Screen brightness reaches 1000 cd/m². Support for Nvidia G-Sync image synchronization technology is also announced.

Predator Helios 18 AI (2025) configurations include up to 15th generation Intel processors up to Core Ultra 9 275HX, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 mobile graphics, up to 192 GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 6 TB PCIe 5.0 SSD.

The RTX 5090 GPU, which gives the laptop its AI moniker, supports more than 150 optimized artificial intelligence applications for large language models (LLMs), image generation, and more.

The Predator Helios 18 AI (2025) will go on sale in the US in May, starting at $2,999.99.

The Predator Helios 16 AI (2025) also receives a number of improvements, including an OLED display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. The laptop will be offered in configurations with the same processors and graphics as the older model, as well as with 64 GB of RAM and a PCIe 5.0 SSD with a capacity of up to 4 TB.

The Predator Helios 16 AI (2025) will go on sale in the US in June, and the price of the new product starts at $2,299.99.

Both models feature replaceable mechanical keys and the company’s sixth-generation metal AeroBlade fans, which Acer says increases airflow by up to 20% compared to plastic fans, keeping components cooler more efficiently. Despite the presence of support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3, the choice of ports is limited to two Thunderbolt 5 connectors.
