Acer Unveils Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT in BiFrost Predator and Nitro Overclocked and Unoverclocked Editions

Acer has introduced six variants of the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 graphics cards as part of its BiFrost Predator and Nitro series. The manufacturer will offer models both with and without additional factory overclocking.

Acer’s Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 feature massive cooling systems that include three fans each. The new products are 2.5 expansion slots thick. The XT models with the highest factory overclocking will receive three 8-pin power connectors.

BiFrost Predator Radeon RX 9070 XT

Under the BiFrost Predator series, the company will release only the Radeon RX 9070 XT model. For it, the manufacturer claims overclocking up to 3100 MHz in Boost mode, as well as power consumption at 340 W. A version without factory overclocking will also be available for sale, with a GPU frequency of up to 2970 MHz in Boost mode and power consumption at 304 W.

The Nitro Radeon RX 9070 XT OC will also be released with a GPU overclock of 3100 MHz and a TDP of 340 W, as well as a reference frequency of 2970 MHz for the graphics chip and a power consumption of 304 W.

Nitro Radeon RX 9070 XT

The Nitro Radeon RX 9070 OC will offer a GPU overclock of up to 2700 MHz. The power consumption of this card is 245 watts. The reference version will offer a frequency of 2520 MHz in Boost mode and will consume 220 watts of power.

The key difference between the BiFrost Predator and Nitro models is their appearance. However, the cards have the same specs, size, and possibly the same heatsinks. According to VideoCardz, the cards are already shipping to retailers, but their price is not yet known.
