Acer Unveils 240Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitors Predator X27U X1 and Predator X32 X2 Starting at $600

Acer has announced two new Predator series gaming monitors – the 26.7-inch Predator X27U X1 and the 31.5-inch Predator X32 X2. Both new products are built on QD-OLED matrices with a refresh rate of 240 Hz.

The Predator X27U X1 model has a screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, while the Predator X32 X2 supports a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Both monitors have a response time of 0.03 ms, support Dynamic Refresh Rate technology, which allows you to switch to a refresh rate of 60 Hz (when connected via DisplayPort), are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified and provide 99 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The typical brightness of the displays is 250 cd / m², and the peak in HDR mode is 1000 cd / m². Both monitors also support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro adaptive image synchronization technology.

The manufacturer notes the compatibility of the new products with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S gaming consoles.

The Predator X27U X1 comes with two 5W speakers, two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Predator X32 X2 has two 2W speakers, but the interfaces are identical. Both monitors feature ergonomic stands that adjust the screen height, swivel, and tilt angles.


The Acer Predator X32 X2 will go on sale in the US in June for $999.99. In EMEA regions, the new product is expected in August for €1,199, and in China, the monitor will appear in the second quarter for 5,999 yuan. In turn, the Predator X27U X1 is already available in the US for $599.99. In EMEA regions, it will appear in June for €699. In China, the monitor will be available for 3,999 yuan.
