Acer has introduced a compact gaming computer case, Predator Gaming Case MI900, in SFF (Small Form Factor) format with a futuristic appearance.
The Predator Gaming Case MI900 is used in Acer’s Orion-X pre-built builds. However, it can also be purchased separately. The standalone version is distinguished by the absence of a headphone holder on top, as well as a glass element on the front side.
The internal volume of the case is about 15 liters. With dimensions of 336 × 179 × 258 mm, it supports the installation of Mini-ITX and Thin Mini-ITX motherboards. The air cooler can be installed with a height of no more than 41 mm. For example, something larger than the Noctua NH-L9 will not fit here. However, the case also supports the installation of a life-support system with a radiator size up to 240 mm. The latter can be located in the upper part of the body.
The Predator Gaming Case MI900 also supports the installation of video cards up to 310 mm in length. Due to the size of the case, the GPU can only be installed vertically, that is, parallel to the plane of the motherboard, using a special riser adapter for this. Fresh air for the video card comes through the side panel of the case.
The case supports the installation of power supplies in SFX or SFX-L formats. The manufacturer also provides two slots for 2.5-inch drives. The new product has RGB lighting on the front, is equipped with USB 3.0 Type-C and USB 3.0 Type-A connectors, as well as a pair of 3.5 mm audio outputs.
The Acer Predator Gaming Case MI900 compact computer case can be found on sale at prices starting from 155 euros.
