G.Skill has unveiled a new achievement in the world of RAM – a 128GB (2x64GB) DDR5-8400 CL44 kit. The kit was tested on an Asus ROG Crosshair X870E APEX motherboard paired with an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor, proving that it is possible to get both high speed and large memory capacity.

Previously, memory with such a frequency was usually limited to smaller volumes, but now it seems that this problem has been solved. As the company emphasizes, the kit is ideal for artificial intelligence, machine learning, rendering and other resource-intensive processes where both fast data access and large memory volumes are important.
Testing on the AMD platform confirmed the stability of the memory even at the maximum frequencies for the current generation of DDR5. The screenshot shows how the kit passed the MemtestPro utility test without errors. This shows that G.Skill engineers managed not only to overclock the memory to 8400 MHz, but also to ensure reliability under high load. “Our new 64 GB DDR5 module allows you to assemble 128 GB configurations without losing speed,” G.Skill says. “And this opens up new opportunities for professionals who need maximum performance.”

Founded in 1989, G.Skill continues to lead the high-speed memory segment. With its own testing lab and strong development team, the company regularly releases innovative solutions for gamers, overclockers, and IT professionals. The new DDR5-8400 128 GB record is further proof of its success.
Such modules are expected to go on sale in the coming months. It is not yet known what their final price will be, but it is obvious that this solution is aimed at the upper segment.
