The Cypriot studio with Russian roots Mundfish presented Atomic Heart 2, a sequel to its retro-futuristic shooter Atomic Heart, on stage at the Summer Game Fest 2025.

The sequel to Atomic Heart takes things global. It promises a gripping story with secrets and high stakes, the return of beloved characters and a gallery of new ones.
«A living world full of possibilities, new and beloved heroes, and a greater emphasis on RPG and freedom of action: all this will provide a completely different gaming experience and take the genre to a new level,” reads the description of Atomic Heart 2.
Atomic Heart 2 is expected to release in 2026 on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Mundfish also unveiled an Atomic Heart spin-off, the multiplayer RPG shooter The Cube, at Summer Game Fest 2025.
