Following the recent teaser, developers Owlcat Games announced another game in production at the Future Games Show: Summer Showcase 2025.

As expected, we are talking about a project in the universe of “The Expanse”. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a sci-fi action RPG on Unreal Engine 5. The announcement trailer is attached.
According to producer Yulia Chernenko, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is inspired by the original Mass Effect trilogy: third-person view, tactical combat with two partners and a cover system, romances with crew members, and so on.

Players will take on the role of a mercenary for the security company Pinkwater, who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. An unexpected quarantine on the asteroid Eros cuts the hero off from the outside world and unwittingly draws him into a conspiracy of cosmic proportions.
In The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, you must assemble and unite a team, become the captain of the most advanced ship in the solar system, break through a web of lies and leave your mark on history.
They promise the ability to create your own captain (from Earth, Mars or a resident of the Belt) and customize his appearance, elaborate stories of comrades, the influence of decisions on the plot, familiar places from the books/series and support for the Russian language.
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is being developed for PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Just a month ago, Owlcat presented the party-based RPG Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy. Neither project has a release date.
