Although there are still a few hours left before the launch of extended access to the hotly anticipated shooter Doom: The Dark Ages, some owners of the premium edition of the game report that they have already started playing it.

Let us remind you that officially expanded access to Doom: The Dark Ages for those who pre-ordered the premium edition costing $100 should open on May 13 at 3:00 Moscow time.

According to the SteamDB entry, the unlock of the premium edition of Doom: The Dark Ages actually happened on May 12 at 19:00 Moscow time, seven hours earlier than the scheduled time.

However, the Steam page still states that extended access to Doom: The Dark Ages will start on May 13. Apparently, the game was released early due to a technical error.

It is worth noting that not all owners of the premium edition of Doom: The Dark Ages received access to the ambitious shooter ahead of time. Some buyers report that they still cannot play.

Meanwhile, streams of the release version of Doom: The Dark Ages have already started on the Twitch streaming service, although the game has not yet been officially released even for those who pre-ordered the premium edition.

Doom: The Dark Ages will officially release on May 15 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass. Ahead of the premiere, the Internet has already been flooded with spoilers for the game.
