Let us remember that the year before last Judero successfully went through a fundraising campaign on the Kickstarter site and at that time was expected to be released during August 2024.

As it became known, the release date was missed quite a bit almost two years ago. Judero will go on sale September 16th. The trailer description only mentions Steam, but the game is also being developed for the Nintendo Switch.

Judero is set in a world inspired by the folklore of the Scottish Borders. Players will take on the role of the Celt Judero, who can establish a connection with the surrounding nature and inhabit animals.

They promise “fast and smooth” battles, unique bosses, non-linear and capacious dialogues, mini-games with different mechanics and visual styles, as well as many secrets. Only English and Turkish languages are declared to be supported.

Despite the creepy nature of some scenes, Judero is not a scary game

The main feature of Judero is its appearance. The game is made from handmade objects (molded from epoxy clay and painted with acrylic paint) and figures animated using stop motion animation.

Judero is a project by indie developers Jack King-Spooner and Talha Kaya. You can join the world of Scottish folklore and puppet animation now thanks to the demo version on Steam.
