Publisher Panic has announced the release date and target platforms for the tactical action game Arco, a Western with a touch of magical realism from a team of four independent developers.

Let’s remember that Arco was officially presented last summer as part of the Panic Games Showcase 2023 presentation and was expected to be released throughout 2024 in versions for PC and unnamed consoles.

As it became known, Arco will go on sale on August 15 this year for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and Nintendo Switch. The announcement was accompanied by a new gameplay trailer.

In addition, on the occasion of the announcement of the release date, Arco developers updated the demo version available on Steam: users can expect about two hours of gameplay from the beginning of the game without any restrictions.

Arco tells the story of four heroes. Their stories are “forged in blood, steeped in magic, and united by a desire for revenge” on the Red Company gang that is poisoning the land and killing its people.

They promise a new look at turn-based combat, a unique guilt system, three campaigns with different points of view, the impact of decisions on the plot, expressive pixel art and an atmospheric soundtrack.

Arco is a project of Australian programmer Max Cahill, Polish artist Franek Nowotniak, Mexican designer Antonio Uribe and Spanish composer José Ramón García.
