The creators of the large -scale Fallout fashion: Nuevo Mexico for the role playing game Fallout: New Vegas, who lasted fans last fall the first new gameplay trailer in a long time, decided to cancel the further development of the project.

Returning to work in August 2024, after personal problems, the host of Modder under the pseudonym Zapshock on the official Discord-server of the project announced the cancellation of Fallout: Nuevo Mexico.

According to Zapshock, the creation of Fallout: Nuevo Mexico has been his passion over the past few years, but it was time for him to “focus on mental health and look at the truth.”

«The team is small (less than four people), the volume of work is huge, and the price (both in money and personal terms) is too high. It does not make sense to continue either for me or others, including voice actors, ”Modder explained.

Zapshock thanked everyone for the support of Fallout: Nuevo Mexico and asked the community to treat the decision: “To let go of what you put in your soul, it hurts, but it is necessary.”
