Weekly Steam chart: Black Myth: Wukong is not the only one – three more new products made it into the top ten

Action role-playing game Black Myth: Wukong from the Chinese studio Game Science has become the leader of the weekly Steam sales chart. At the same time, the game got to the first line the previous week thanks to pre-orders.

Black Myth: Wukong broke the online record for single-player games in Steam history, ahead of Cyberpunk 2077 (1,054,388 people), and came in second place in terms of this indicator among all projects presented on the site in general. At its peak, the number of concurrent users reached 2,223,179 – only the shooter PUBG: Battlegrounds (3,257,248) remains ahead. The role-playing action game received high marks from the press, and in the Valve store it collected more than 125 thousand reviews, based on which its rating is 96%.

Other events on the chart:

• The second best new release, 4X space real-time strategy game Sins of a Solar Empire II from Ironclad Games Corporation (formerly an Epic Games Store exclusive), debuted in third place with “very positive” reviews (88% based on 2,200 . reviews) and 13,394 concurrent players at peak;

• The third best release is the shapez 2 factory builder from tobspr games. The sequel to the relaxing analogue of Factorio and Satisfactory took seventh position (rating – 98% based on 3.5 thousand reviews, maximum online – 18,806 people);

• Another new release reached the eighth place – the crime scene cleaner simulator Crime Scene Cleaner from President Studio (97% based on 3.3 thousand reviews, 13,577 users at the peak);

• Other new products on the chart are the American football simulator EA Sports Madden NFL 25 from Tiburon (17th place), the early access evacuation shooter Level Zero: Extraction from Doghowl Games (41st) and the survival simulator in ancient Greek surroundings Dawn of Defiance from Traega Entertainment (48th), as well as two add-ons – The Iron Rig for the fishing adventure Dredge (54th) and Massive Monster for the hybrid roguelike and settlement management simulator Cult of the Lamb (65th);

• Thanks to the release of the expansion, Cult of the Lamb returned to the chart – straight to sixth place;
• Also in the top 10 were Cyberpunk 2077 and Persona 5 Royal again, and Persona 3 Reload climbed to 11th position (Atlus games were helped by discounts).
