“Voice of Players”: voting has opened for the best game of 2024 according to viewers of The Game Awards 2024

As promised, on December 2, the announcement of the nominees in the “Voice of Players” category at The Game Awards 2024 ceremony took place – along with this, the first stage of voting began on the official website of the show.

Voting will make it possible to determine the game of the year according to ordinary users in three stages: after the first round, out of 30 participating games, 10 will remain, then five will remain, and at the end of the final, only one will remain.

22 releases from 2024 and eight more games from previous years are up for victory in the “Voice of Players” category at The Game Awards 2024. Here is their list:

Unlike the 29 main categories at The Game Awards 2024 (the jury has a 90% influence on the outcome), the winner in the Player Voice category is determined entirely by users.

Intermediate round results will not be displayed. According to the organizers, this helps maintain intrigue until the very end, but players are already predicting an unconditional victory for Black Myth and its large Chinese audience.

The first round of voting in the “Voice of Players” nomination will end on December 5 at 7:00 Moscow time, and the start of the second round is scheduled for December 5 at 20:00 Moscow time. The winner will be announced at The Game Awards 2024.

The Game Awards 2024 broadcast will begin on December 13 at 3:30 Moscow time. In addition to the award ceremony for the best games of the outgoing year, world premieres and announcements are expected at the show.
