Developers from TeamKill Media have published a large gameplay video of Code Violet, an action horror game in the spirit of Dino Crisis. The visual material appeared on the official PlayStation YouTube channel.

In the allotted 19 minutes of screen time, the authors manage to demonstrate the main character’s walks through the labyrinths of the Aion bioengineering complex, which are sometimes interrupted by simple side activities.
The action of Code Violet will take place in the 25th century, when due to a grand cataclysm the Earth became uninhabitable. The remnants of humanity in an attempt to find a new home for themselves moved to the planet Trappist 1-E, where they will have to defend their right to further existence.
The main character, Violet Sinclair, dressed in a tight suit, explores the station section by section, moves boxes, presses illuminated buttons to open the necessary passages, and solves simple puzzles. The measured pace of exploring the local locations is broken only by encounters with dinosaurs. The player will have the opportunity to avoid the creatures or engage in open combat with them.
YouTube commenters generally liked the demo of Code Violet, but felt that more time could have been spent on the character animations. The choice of costume for the main character was also notable. “They knew how to handle the third-person view,” said someone named bqndata.
The action horror game Code Violet is announced as a PS5 exclusive, with a release date set for July 2025. The creators do not want to release their game on PC because they are afraid of modders who might make “vulgar versions of the main character and other characters.”
