The return of dragons, naval battles and the influence of Starfield: an insider shared new details about The Elder Scrolls VI

Insider eXtas1s, who predicted the appearance of Doom: The Dark Ages on Developer_Direct, in a new video revealed allegedly behind-the-scenes details of the hotly anticipated fantasy RPG The Elder Scrolls VI from Bethesda Game Studios.

According to “trustworthy” colleague eXtas1s, the game will take place in the provinces of Hammerfell and High Rock in northwestern Tamriel. Fans first saw this hint in a four-year-old Starfield trailer.

Bethesda Game Studios’ space RPG also allegedly inspired the developers to add ship-building mechanics for naval battles to The Elder Scrolls VI, which will appear in the project.

The world of The Elder Scrolls VI, as claimed by eXtas1s, will include 12 or 13 major cities, exploration of sea and underwater sections, as well as the ability to explore islands off the mainland.

Among other things, eXtas1s promises the construction of fortresses and villages (development of the settlement idea from Fallout 4), a flexible progression system, the return of dragons and more seamless gameplay compared to Starfield.

The insider did not mention the timing of The Elder Scrolls VI, but with reference to the aforementioned colleague, he added that the game could be shown as early as June of this year, along with the rumored remake/remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

The Elder Scrolls VI was announced at E3 2018 and has been in active development for a year and a half. Bethesda will be giving away the chance to immortalize themselves in the game — the bid at the charity auction has already risen to $42.3 thousand.
