The programmer played in the classic doom inside the Google search line

Even the executioner of rock sometimes needs to find something, whether it is cartridges or weapons. Now, during the process, the hero may not be distracted from the killing of demons, because the classic doom was ported to the Google search engine.

The PCGAMESN portal noticed that the other day the Brazilian programmer Pedro Webber showed how he played in the legendary Software Software Shooter inside the Google search line.

The image consists of numerous ASCII characters. For a more or less comfortable game, Webber had to reduce the scale of the page – otherwise the shooter simply did not fit inside the screen.

Despite the imperfect performance, playing in this format turned out to be quite real. Judging by the video attached below, the port even has support for modern controllers.

It is worth noting that in this case, doom does not work directly inside the Google search line, but only projected into it, but the experiment still impressed the audience.

In the past, Webber also launched the fantasy role -playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 inside the “Notepad”, and the role -player Elden Ring (and the same doom before it) was implemented in the Visual Studio Code source code.

As for the classic doom, in more than 30 years from the release, enthusiasts managed to port a legendary shooter in the PDF file and Word document, on robotic lawn mowers, a smart Alarmo alarm clock and many other devices.
