Firstly, the looter shooter Borderlands 4 from Gearbox Software will be shown at The Game Awards 2024. Judging by the revelations of studio head Randy Pitchford on his personal microblog, we are talking about a gameplay trailer.

«Yes, there will be GAMEPLAY in the trailer! “Also, in addition to a bunch of footage from the game, I’ll be sharing a cool original cinematic scene that takes place between the end of Borderlands 3 and the beginning of Borderlands 4,” promised Pitchford.

Secondly, as part of The Game Awards 2024, there will be a presentation of Mafia: The Old Country, a prequel to the main series. Players will uncover the origins of organized crime in the criminal world of Sicily in the 1900s.

Thirdly, viewers of The Game Awards 2024 will be able to find out why Kyle Crane from the zombie action movie Dying Light: The Beast, which grew out of the unreleased second addition to Dying Light 2 Stay Human, is not feeling well.

Borderlands 4, Mafia: The Old Country and Dying Light: The Beast are being created for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S. The first two are expected to be released in 2025, but the latter has no official release date.

The Game Awards 2024 broadcast will begin on December 13 at 3:30 Moscow time. There are 29 main nominations presented at the ceremony. The day before, the final stage of voting in the user category “Voice of Players” started on the award website.
