According to CDPR VP of Technical Development Charles Tremblay, Cyberpunk 2077 on the Nintendo Switch 2 offers a familiar experience from other versions: “I think players will feel right at home.”
«At the same time, we have many ways to experience the game – with controllers, on the go, a great LCD screen with VRR support. I think this is the best portable version of the game,” Tremblay said.
CD Projekt co-director Adam Badowski also hinted that Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 users will be able to control katanas in the game using Joy-Con controllers.
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition (with the Phantom Liberty add-on included) will go on sale for Nintendo Switch 2 at the same time as the console, that is, on June 5. The cost of the game on the hybrid console will be a full $70.
Earlier, Cyberpunk 2077 became the first confirmed Switch 2 game to support Nvidia’s DLSS intelligent scaling. As Digital Foundry noted, the game uses an older version of DLSS based on convolutional neural networks.
