The last major patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 came out ahead of time, but only on PS5 and by mistake

Although the eighth major patch for the fantasy role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios does not yet have a release date, the hotly anticipated update has already become available on one of the project’s target platforms, contrary to the intentions of the developers.

Several users of the Reddit forum reported that the PS5 without a preliminary notice by Larian Studios began to load a patch of 1.800,000 – a non -prepared test version, but a full -fledged.

Larian Studios hastened to comment on the situation: “No, stress testing of the eighth patch has not yet begun. Yes, PS5 players currently have access to Patch 8.”

Larian warned users who received early access to the update that saves made while playing with the eighth patch installed will be incompatible with the currently current version.
