As promised, on July 19, as part of the BitSummit Drift festival, developers from the Sukeban Games studio (VA-11 Hall-A) showed a trailer for their cyberpunk action game .45 Parabellum Bloodhound, inspired by Parasite Eve.
Let us remind you that in the plot of .45 Parabellum Bloodhound, retired mercenary and killing machine Raila Mikazuchi, in a last attempt to grab life by the horns and find her own paradise, takes up her old ways.
Players will explore seven detailed and secret-filled levels with hand-crafted battles, unique characters, puzzles, and a “cool boss” at the end of each stage.
The first trailer for .45 Parabellum Bloodhound is a minute long and shows off graphics in the style of the original PlayStation games along with Rayla’s third eye and a Parasite Eve-inspired combat system called Active Time Action.
By moving around the arena and dodging attacks from enemies, players accumulate (the speed depends on the characteristics of the character and weapon) a special charge, which, when the scale is filled, will allow them to stop time and plan an attack.
In the comments under the debut video, players admire the visual style of .45 Parabellum Bloodhound and references (including gameplay) to Parasite Eve, and also express their readiness to buy the game now.
Along with the trailer, the .45 Parabellum Bloodhound received a Steam page. The release date has not been specified, but the game will be released earlier than N1RV Ann-A, the sequel to VA-11 Hall-A. Now the team has five out of seven chapters ready to one degree or another.
