To the accompaniment of the song Magical Mystery Tour by The Beatles, the teaser also introduces the main characters of the film – four losers who were sucked into a cubic world through a mysterious portal. There they will have to team up with a strange man named Steve (the standard appearance of the protagonist in the Minecraft game) and save the universe from destruction.

The main roles in the Minecraft Movie went to Jason Momoa and Jack Black. The film stars Wednesday’s Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks and Sebastian Eugene Hansen.

The film adaptation of Minecraft from director Jared Hess will be released in foreign cinemas on April 4, 2024.
