The end is here: rogliete action game Dead Cells received the final update The End is Near

Developers from French studios Motion Twin and Evil Empire have announced the release of The End is Near, the latest update for the platform roguelike action game Dead Cells.

The latest update added to the game many new weapons and skins for the main character’s head, as well as a wide range of enemies and mutations. With the release of the update, Dead Cells also added a system of cursed biomes and new transitions between them.

Previously, the authors of the popular roglite action game promised that after the release of The End is Near they would shift their attention to other projects. As for Dead Cells, in the future the game will receive exclusively technical patches.

Dead Cells debuted on Steam Early Access in May 2017, and the project later appeared on GOG. The roguelight action game has regularly expanded its platform geography – now it is available not only on PC, but also on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X and S, as well as on mobile devices running iOS and Android.
