The developers of the anime fighting game Guilty Gear Strive from the Japanese studio Arc System Works have announced an unexpected collaboration with the Polish CD Projekt Red and the animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

As it became known, as part of the fourth season of additional content in Guilty Gear Strive, one of the central characters of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will appear – the mysterious netrunner Lucy (full name Lucina Kushinada).
Lucy will join the Guilty Gear Strive roster as a guest character throughout 2025. They didn’t show what the mercenary would look like in the anime fighting game (only the teaser attached below).

In addition to Lucy, in the fourth season of Guilty Gear Strive the gallery of characters will be replenished by Queen Dizzy (October 2024) and Venom (early 2025) from Guilty Gear X, as well as a completely new fighter for the series – Unica (2025).
In addition, Guilty Gear Strive plans to introduce 3v3 team mode, additional arenas, and a new exclusive color for characters throughout Season 4. The update trailer is below.
The launch of the fourth season of Guilty Gear Strive will take place today, July 22, and from the 26th to the 29th there will be open beta testing of the mentioned 3v3 team mode.
Guilty Gear Strive debuted in June 2021 on PC (Steam), PS4 and PS5, and in March 2023 it reached the Microsoft Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, S and Game Pass. The game’s audience exceeds 3 million people.
