The developers of Black Mesa have announced a cooperative shooter about corporate warfare – trailer and details of Rogue Point

Following the February teaser, the American studio Crowbar Collective (Black Mesa), with the support of the publisher Team 17, presented its next project – as expected, it is a shooter called Rogue Point.

In the story, when the richest businessman on Earth dies, aggressive conglomerates begin to tear his legacy apart with the help of private armies hired by rival businessmen through the MERX app.

Rogue Point players will have to assemble the eponymous elite independent squad of champions of justice, destroy MERX and put an end to the corporate war. The first look at it is in the announcement trailer below.

Rogue Point is a four-player co-op PvE shooter that is not affiliated with Black Mesa or Half-Life. The game offers you to plan and complete challenging missions in a dynamic campaign with roglite elements.

They promise continuously evolving gameplay, transforming maps in four locations thanks to a “parametric design system,” cosmetic items and campaign modifiers.

Despite the presence of “cosmetics” in the game, the developers do not plan to add microtransactions to Rogue Point, but they will think about it if the project is successful in the long term.

Rogue Point will begin early access on Steam throughout 2025—the exact date should be announced “soon.” At launch, the game will only support the English language and will be sold cheaper than a full release in the future.
