Let us remind you that the events of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will unfold in the open world of feudal Japan in 1579. There are two main characters – the dexterous and secretive shinobi Naoe, as well as the legendary dark-skinned samurai Yasuke.

The one-minute clip tells the story of Naoe and Yasuke’s secretive fight against corruption and cruelty, sealed in blood. “Justice happens in the shadows,” the heroes conclude in unison.

Commenters are excited about the upcoming release and are mostly optimistic (3.5K likes vs. 520 dislikes). TheHiddenOne690 is dying of impatience: “Take all my money and more.”

Meanwhile, Ubisoft shared some good news for Steam Deck owners on social media X. It has been revealed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will have support for Valve’s portable PC at release.

It’s unclear what exact Steam Deck compatibility rating Assassin’s Creed Shadows will receive (Fully Compatible, Playable, Not Supported) – Ubisoft has submitted the game to Valve for review and is still waiting for a response.
