Thematic events held regularly on Steam can be both versatile and extremely specific. The crate movement festival that began on Valve’s service today, April 21, falls into the second category.

As a reminder, in the Steam events schedule for 2025 presented last winter, the crate-moving festival was called the Sokoban festival, but apparently Valve found a more suitable name for it.
Valve is pitching the crate-moving festival as a puzzle fest where the player is (literally) the “main driving force” and where “there’s a lot of pushing involved.”
