As a reminder, Baldur’s Gate 3 has been at the top of the list of the most popular games on the Steam Deck since leaving Early Access last August. As it turned out, laptop users spent a lot of time in Feirun.

As Daus reported on his microblog, as of November 11, 2024, Steam Deck owners had played Baldur’s Gate 3 for a total of 17,223,529 hours—that’s more than 1966 years.

As for the popularity of Baldur’s Gate 3 in the Vatican, two copies of the game were sold at the residence of the Pope. Another user from this city-state in Italy has the game on his wishlist.

«I would like to believe that the last one is the Pope, waiting for him to have a free minute. I’d like to see their list of mods. I bet they still have him,” Daus imagines.

Baldur’s Gate 3 left early access on August 3, 2023 on PC (Steam, GOG), and subsequently reached Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. In March, Larian head Swen Vincke hinted that sales of the game exceed 15 million copies.
