Star Wars Outlaws sales have disappointed Ubisoft, but the company has a plan to improve the game and release it on Steam

Let us remind you that the release of Star Wars Outlaws took place on August 30 on PC (Ubisoft Connect, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game received far from ideal ratings (75-76% on Metacritic), and sales, according to analysts, left much to be desired the best.

In a press release, Ubisoft admitted that, despite positive reviews from critics and players, Star Wars Outlaws started weaker than expected, and therefore the company will take a number of measures to ensure the project has a long tail of sales.

First, Ubisoft is aiming to “quickly implement” a series of updates to improve the gaming experience (including combat and stealth segments). This should help the project attract holiday shoppers towards the end of the year.

Secondly, on November 21, that is, a little less than three months after the release on other platforms, Star Wars Outlaws will go on sale for Steam. This should also boost sales of the game.

On the same day as the Steam version, Star Wars Outlaws will also receive the Wild Card expansion, in which the heroine will have to join forces with Lando Calrissian to enter the Sabacc tournament.
