Developers from Nixxes Software (owned by Sony) have announced the system requirements for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, an improved version of the post-apocalyptic open-world action game Horizon Zero Dawn from Guerrilla Games.
According to the creators, they tried to make Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered work on a wide range of hardware, so they prepared configurations for four graphics presets at once: from “very low” to “very high.”
The developers of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered also promise a lot of settings in the launcher and the game itself, which will allow the user to achieve the most optimal experience for their system.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered system requirements are as follows:
Minimum requirements (720p, 30fps, very low graphics settings)
Recommended requirements (1080p, 60 fps, medium graphics settings)
«High” requirements (1440p and 60 fps / 4K and 30 fps, high graphics settings)
«Very high” requirements (4K, 60 fps, very high graphics settings)
As noted by users of the ResetEra forum, the presented system requirements for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered are almost completely (with the exception of the storage space requirements) identical to those for the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will offer improved graphics and animations, re-recorded dialogue, support for ultra-wide monitors, Nvidia DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.1, as well as compatibility with saves from the original game.
The release of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is expected on October 31 on PC (Steam, EGS) and PS5. Owners of the original game on PC and PS4 (free copies from the 2021 distribution also count) have access to a paid ($10) upgrade to the new version.
